My Story

At Custom Curriculum, our passion is to unlock the potential of every learner through engaging, hands-on experiences.

My educational roots trace back to a Montessori school, where early exposure to child-centered learning ignited my passion for creativity and organization. After earning my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I began my teaching journey in public school classrooms, where I learned that too many bright minds drift through one-size-fits-all lessons. Over the years, I have researched and implemented various teaching styles, eventually landing on a unique blend of Charlotte Mason’s emphasis on nature and narration with hands-on STEAM experiments. I love weaving multiple subjects into single, immersive activities. With a Montessori certification in hand and over a decade of experience teaching, tutoring, and homeschooling my own children, I have fallen in love with the craft of curriculum writing. I design lessons that are both structured and wildly engaging. Drawing on insights from my past experience, I’ve seen how multi-sensory, tailored learning turns reluctant students into enthusiastic explorers. That transformation—where curiosity, deeper understanding, and lasting confidence thrive—inspires every curriculum I create.

What Makes Us Different?

Custom Curriculum, located in Flower Mound, Texas, designs custom, hands-on curriculum to engage the learner. By blending interactive activities, multi-sensory approaches, and targeted strategies, our tailored lessons unlock potential and create lasting confidence.

Custom Curriculum isn’t a one-size-fits-all workbook or a standard tutor filling gaps—it’s a fully built, turnkey learning experience crafted around your student’s strengths, interests, and preferred modalities. Rooted in Montessori and Charlotte Mason philosophies and supercharged with hands-on STEAM experiments, each multi-sensory unit is cross-curricular—seamlessly blending history, science, language arts, and the arts to reinforce core principles, underscore recurring themes, and foster a deep, interconnected understanding of the world. Every lesson arrives organized and ready to implement, yet flexible enough to follow a child’s “what if?” moment. We measure success not by worksheet completion but by sparks of curiosity, real-world application, and the lasting confidence that comes from truly owning your learning.
